Whistler has again been voted the No. 1 overall best ski resort in North America by rthe annual SKI Magazine Reader’s Poll. The online survey saw 41,000 resort rankings submitted by SKI Magazine readers and ranks the top 50 North American ski resorts in a variety of categories valued by ski and snowboard enthusiasts. In addition to being voted No. 1 in overall ranking, Whistler Blackcomb also received top marks in the terrain variety, off-hill activity and après categories.  What a great town we live in here!

Pirate Movie Production have just dropped the teaser for their latest Ultra HD snowboard film co-produced by Red Bull Media House featuring riders Gigi Rüf, Marco Feichtner, Kalle Ohlson, Sami Luhtanen, Manuel Diaz, Wojtek Pawlusiak, Fredrik Evensen, Maxim Balakhovskiy and Elias Elhardt. 

The first installment of Get Outta Town - Project 2 features these BC bad boys ripping through the kind of deep powder that usually only exists in the depths of our imaginations (unless, of course, you too are lucky enough to live in British Columbia). Benji Ritchie, Eero Niemela, Ryan Tiene, Iikka Backstrom, and Devun Walsh rip around in their backyard providing a video begs for repeat viewings. So, sit back, press play, enjoy this Whistler crew doing what they do best.

Burton has a brand new blow your mind teaser for their nine part web series showcasing Burton’s top riders.

Watch Mikey Rencz riding with Jussi Oksanen, Jeremy Jones alongside Mikkel Bang, Mark Sollors with Alek Oestreng, Kelly Clark with Enni Rukajärvi and Chloe Kim, and Zak Hale trading hits with Ethan Deiss. Mark McMorris and Kimmy Fasani will be featured in individual parts, and the series will also include an exclusive look into Danny Davis’ Peace Park. The latest Absinthe teaser has just been released for their new movie titled Heavy Mental.

The full length movie rolls out this September.
